From 5.5 weeks completely off from all work and not leaving my house to 4 full days of activities in a city across the country having done nearly 40,000 steps. You could say I'm exhausted. But I am ok!

I wasn't ok the entire time but I was able to hang far more than I anticipated! We arrived at our hotel about 15 minutes prior to the group activities beginning. We were OFF to the races right away. I think I slept about 2 hours the first night, 5 on the second, 6 on the third, and about 5.5 the final night. We were out late at the gigs and so excited to spend time with all these wonderful humans we've only ever dreamt of meeting. And then I'd wake up early in anticipation of hanging out with them all again. It was so surreal.

Bless everyone's hearts - they were checking up on me a lot as they'd been keeping up with my health status all month. There was only one afternoon I stayed in the hotel room to rest (Friday) and that made a lot of sense considering it was the night of my set. But otherwise, I stayed out and about for as much as I could!

I have a lot of big feelings about this weekend. We met so many amazing people we've only known through our computer screens for 4-5 years. It was humbling, exciting, nerve-wrecking, exhausting, validating, friendship building, and so much more I can't describe. I got to perform with people I've looked up to for years. I got to just hang out and be human with some of my favorite streamers. And as someone who really doesn't go out much or do much for herself on that level, this was the treat of my whole year. And even if I don't get added to the lineup next year, you can bet your ass I'll be going to New Jersey to do this all again.

Now that I've been home for a minute (not even a full day yet), I can go back to fully recovering. Many people might think I've already done that because, clearly, I could handle a full 4 day trip. But that's not the case. I took SO MUCH CARE to not overdo it and injure myself during this surgery recovery. That is HARD to do in a group full of mostly able-bodied people on an excursion. So yes, I am ok. But my organs are swollen and I think it'll be a few days until I feel as ok as I did before we left on Thursday. I don't plan to go back to full-time work for a few more weeks but I will be getting back to my vocal students and part-time streaming ASAP.

My plan this is to do a just chatting stream tomorrow (7/2) to debrief y'all on our trip and help us process every amazing thing that happened. Then I'll be back in studio with the band on Thursday. And that's as far as I've gotten. I think my plan moving past this week will be Monday music streams and possibly Wednesday music or game streams on my channel, and rejoining the band on their Thursday streams. Fridays will come back hopefully around August.

I have my D&C / hysteroscopy scheduled on Wednesday, July 23 so that'll take me out for a few days as well. I would love to have a regular stream schedule again by August but I have to play that by ear!

In the meantime, thank you for reading and checking up on me. I'm here, I'm ok and I have a lot to process!
