Recovery Update Day #20

I'm still here recovering, taking it very slow, trying to move a bit more but still feeling a lot of discomfort, which I expected. I had a rough night 2 nights ago. I believe I was sleeping in a funky position and I woke up in abdominal pain; just constant shooting pains all through my upper abdomen. After tossing and turning for about 4 hours, I finally took a Tylenol at 4am and it got me back to sleep. Thank goodness.

I intended to type an update yesterday but because I was in more pain, I just never mustered the energy to do so. But today I feel how I felt pre-setback, which is just some discomfort when I move and still some inflammation. It's all getting better overall!

In other good news, I got a date for my D&C / hysteroscopy! July 23. The results of these test are necessary for me to get approved for a safe hysterectomy (just taking my uterus). These test results will be relevant for an entire calendar year so I'm excited to talk to my doctor about the timing of said hysterectomy. I may push for this year sometime if he thinks my body can handle the trauma. My follow up with him is in a week from today (telehealth and yes, it's a Sunday morning).

I want to start planning a stream or two before we leave for The Altitude Sessions on June 26 so be on the look out for that. I plan to be at the studio for EBX's stream on June 19 as well. We'll see how this all pans out but I do think I'm on track with my recovery. I'm trying not to overdo ANYTHING at all, I promise!

Thank you all for the continued amazing vibes on social media and DMs! 🫶🏻
